Jomonsugi It believed the biggest tree of the Yakusima island. The massive cedar tree who has trunk 16 meters around was estimated 7200 years old. Now tree age is controversial subject since that there is no direct mesurement of the growth ring because the stem of the tree is hollwed. It is considered at leat 2000 years old is reasonable.
